For your congregation
Live sermon translation for every person in the pews
Many churches have visitors, families and whole congregations who don’t speak the preacher’s language. PraiseTranslate translates the sermon as it is preached, so everyone hears the same Word at the same time.

Romanian churches abroad preach to two generations at once: parents who worship in Romanian and children who grew up speaking English. PraiseTranslate translates the sermon live in both directions, so the whole family stays in the same service.

How hours are counted
Listening to the preacher counts once. Each language the sermon is translated into counts on its own, because each one is a separate live translation. Listeners who choose the preacher's own language use no extra time.
- 2 hours1-hour sermon, translated into English1 h listening + 1 h English
- 3 hoursSame sermon into English and Spanish1 h listening + 1 h English + 1 h Spanish
- 4 hoursSame sermon into 3 languages1 h listening + 3 × 1 h
So 12 hours (Sanctuary Starter) cover about 4 Sunday sermons of 1½ hours in one language, and 30 hours (Congregation) about 4 in three languages.
Questions churches ask
How does live sermon translation work?
Open PraiseTranslate on a laptop at the pulpit or connect it to the sound desk, and tap the microphone. As the pastor preaches, each sentence is recognized and translated in about a second. The translation appears on the projector and on the phones of everyone who scanned the church QR code.
Do people need to install an app?
No. Listeners scan a QR code or open a link in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, pick their language, and read along. They can also have the translation read aloud. Projectors, stage screens and livestream software open a display link.
How many languages does PraiseTranslate support?
60 languages, including Spanish, Romanian, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, French and Hindi. Bible references and church vocabulary have the deepest support in Romanian, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian.
Is it accurate with Bible verses and church words?
PraiseTranslate is built for churches. It recognizes Bible references and uses the right book names in each language, keeps church vocabulary like grace, repentance and salvation, and follows your tradition and preferred Bible version. Like any live translation it can make mistakes, so it is a companion for your congregation rather than a replacement for a human interpreter at weddings or legal moments.
Can it follow a service in two languages?
Yes. When a guest preacher or the worship leader switches between your two service languages, PraiseTranslate notices the switch and keeps translating in both directions, for example Romanian to English and English to Romanian.
What equipment do we need?
A laptop with Chrome or Edge and an internet connection. For the best accuracy, plug in the sound desk feed instead of using the laptop microphone. A projector or TV is optional; phones work on their own.
Is our sermon audio stored?
No. Audio is processed live and not kept. The text of each service is saved to your sermon history so your team can read it, translate it and download transcripts or subtitles later.
How are plan hours counted?
Listening to the preacher counts once, and each language the sermon is translated into counts on its own. A 1-hour sermon translated into English uses 2 hours; into English and Spanish, 3 hours. Listeners who choose the preacher’s own language use no extra time.
What is included in the free plan?
Mustard Seed is free forever with no credit card: 1 hour a month into one listener language, so you can try PraiseTranslate in a real service. Paid plans add more hours, several languages at once, study guides, sermon history and screens without PraiseTranslate branding.
Can we cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are monthly. Change or cancel from your billing page whenever you like; a paid plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for.
Is PraiseTranslate free with TitheTrack?
Yes. Churches on the TitheTrack Enterprise plan get PraiseTranslate Congregation (30 hours a month) at no extra cost, for as long as they stay on Enterprise. In TitheTrack, open Subscription and choose "Claim free PraiseTranslate", then sign in or create your PraiseTranslate account.
